Sergio!!!!!! Sergio Garcia finally got the monkey off his back and won a major for the first time in his career. Although it looked as though Sergio may have once again blown his chance when he missed an easy put to win on the 18th hole, he was able to keep his composure and win on the first playoff hole against Justin Rose. Sergio had back-to-back bogies on the 10th and 11th holes and hit a terrible shot to start the 12th hole before miraculously saving par. These three holes put him two shots behind Rose, but he was able to tie him heading into the last hole after Rose bogeyed on 17. Sergio missed an easy put on 18 that would have won him his first career major, but that didn’t end up haunting him. Garcia was able to birdie the first playoff hole to win his first major. Sergio Garcia will no longer have to deal with the label of being one of the world’s greatest golfers without a major.

The Cavaliers still control their own destiny because they own the tiebreaker over Boston. The Hawks are still in fifth place in the Eastern Conference with a game lead over the Milwaukee Bucks.
