Today in Sports: 4/27/17 Preview

NFL:

The first round of the NFL Draft will be held in Philadelphia. The Miles Files will have all your draft needs covered.

NBA:

Toronto Raptors at Milwaukee Bucks: The Bucks need to win at home against the Raptors to keep their season alive. The Bucks have shown the ability to win in Milwaukee and Toronto against this Raptors team, and they’ll have to do both again if they want to win the series. The Bucks cannot afford to look ahead to game seven before winning game six. Khris Middleton has struggled in the last few games, and he cannot afford to struggle anymore. Giannis Antetokounmpo is the best player in the series, but he cannot defeat the Raptors by himself. Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan have played up to their potential in the last two games. If they can continue this hot streak, they’ll likely end the Bucks’ season in Milwaukee. This isn’t a must-win game for the Raptors, but they’d like to end the series and shift their focus to the defending champion Cavaliers. The Bucks will need a freakish performance from the Greek Freak to help keep their season alive.

San Antonio Spurs at Memphis Grizzlies: The Grizzlies need to win at home against the Spurs to keep their season alive. With the first five games in the series going to the home team, the Grizzlies will be favorites to win this game. They need to win the next two games to win the series, but they cannot look ahead to game seven before winning game six. The Grizzlies need to get major contributions from stars Mike Conley and Marc Gasol. Kawhi Leonard has been the best player all series, and will need another MVP-like performance if they want to end the series in Memphis. Although this game isn’t essential for the Spurs, they’d like to win and get some rest before the second round. The Grizzlies will need their home crowd to help them in this game like they did in games three and four. It’s crucial for both teams that they bring their A game.
