Toronto Blue Jays defeat Texas Rangers 3-1: The Blue Jays defeated the Rangers 3-1 in the second game of their three-game set. The Blue Jays have won each of the series’ first two games. Shin-Soo Choo started the scoring in the first inning when he hit a solo home run to give the Rangers a 1-0 lead. Toronto responded in the fifth inning with a home run of their own. Jose Bautista hit a three-run home run to give Toronto the lead for good. Neither team would score a run outside of their home runs. These two teams will play the third and final game of the series tomorrow in Toronto.
Texas Rangers at Toronto Blue Jays: The Blue Jays host the Rangers in game two of their three-game set. The Blue Jays won the first game by a score of 7-6. The Rangers will be starting Yu Darvish, who will try to help end their four game losing streak. Darvish is 5-2 with a stellar 2.83 ERA. The Blue Jays will be countering with Marco Estrada. Estrada is 3-2 with a 3.30 ERA. With both of these starters pitching at a high level this season, the team that scores the first run will be heavy favorites to win the game.
